CLIENT NOTES

Three files, told plainly.

Composite notes from the sort of work the desk does. Names stand in for clients. Figures are the shape of a facility, not a promise that yours will match.

Seeded loaves and a wheat ear

SALES-TAX LOAN · INVOICE LINE · PEORIA, ILLINOIS

A sales-tax quarter that landed the same week as a flour contract.

Millhouse Bakery

Millhouse supplies restaurants and school kitchens across central Illinois. Flour is paid almost on delivery; the restaurants pay at 45 days. A strong winter quarter produced a sales-tax bill that collided with a contracted grain purchase.

The desk read the return and the ledger on a Tuesday. The sales-tax loan was documented against the bill. The invoice line, which they had talked about for a year, was put in place the same week so the next quarter would not rhyme.

FACILITY
$64,000 sales-tax loan over 9 months, plus a $120,000 invoice line
WHAT FOLLOWED
Payroll and the mill both paid. The loan was cleared inside the term.
Welding in a small engineering workshop

ASSET FINANCE · ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS

Two CNC machines, funded against the machines.

Fox River Fabrications

The order book was there — automotive brackets for two tier-ones — and the old mill was the constraint. The bank wanted a mortgage on the building the family had owned since 1998.

Asset finance took the supplier invoice, inspected the specification, and funded 85% of the machines. Repayments were set inside the margin on the new work, not against a hope.

FACILITY
$186,000 equipment loan over 48 months
WHAT FOLLOWED
A night shift started six weeks later. No owner’s house was charged.
A crowded produce stall

MICRO FACILITY · SUPPLIER RAIL · FULTON MARKET, CHICAGO

A stall that pays a Spanish dairy in USDC before the market opens.

River & Rind

River & Rind is two people, a stall, and a reputation for cheese that is not bought from a warehouse club. Their affineur prices in euros and had started accepting USDC because Spanish wires were arriving late and short.

The micro facility was underwritten on twelve months of stall receipts and two trade references. $9,000 of the draw was converted at the desk rate and sent same day on Base. The rest sat in the checking account for stall rent and wages. The loan repays weekly, which matches how a market actually earns.

FACILITY
$22,000 micro trader loan, settled partly in USDC on Base
WHAT FOLLOWED
Cheese landed Thursday. The stall did not miss the weekend.
